All Nova Hobby Inc. products are sold under this warranty and disclaimer.
RADIO CONTROLLED AIRPLANES, HELICOPTERS, CARS, SHIPS AND ALL PRODUCTS RELATED TO THEM ARE NOT TOYS AND SHOULD BE HANDLED WITH GREAT CARE. THEY REQUIRES PROPER ASSEMBLY AND SETUP TO AVOID ACCIDENTS. FAILURE TO TAKE CAUTION WHEN OPERATING THEM MAY RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE. IT IS THE USER'S RESPONSIBILITY TO OPERATE THEM IN SAFE MANNER.
We accept NO responsibility for crash damage. It is impossible to determine for certain whether crash damage was the result of a radio system failure or pilot error.
We accept NO responsibility for improper installation of our products.
The user shall determine the suitability of the product for his or her intended use and shall assume all risk and liability in connection therewith; this will include all items sold or distributed by Nova Hobby Inc.
User is required to read all instruction manuals and follow the manufacturers guidelines. Nova Hobby Inc. DOES NOT accept responsibility for injury, crash or damage, loss of kits or accessories, or parts and materials that occurs during the use of any model. Great care shall be taken when using RC products. We strongly suggest user following AMA (http:// www.modelaircraft.org) or MAAC (http://www. maac.ca) safety document. Lithium Polymer Batteries, Nickel-metal Hydride Batteries And Nickel-cadmium Batteries:
Lithium Polymer Batteries, Nickel-metal Hydride Batteries And Nickel-cadmium Batteries are volatile. User must read and understand before charging or using your batteries. Failure to read and follow instructions may result in fire, personal injury and damage to property if charged or used improperly. Nova Hobby Inc., its distributors or retailers assume no liability for failures to comply with these warnings and safety guidelines. By purchasing the batteries, the user assumes all risks associated with the batteries. If you do not agree with these conditions, return the battery immediately before use.
Product warranty is limited to original defects in material and workmanship for 14 days from the day from the day upon receiving. Warranty does not cover collateral damage, such as personal and property damage. Misuse, abuse, incorrect charging and other inappropriate use of this product are not covered under warranty.
Defective products can be returned for refund (The cost of shipping is not refundable) or exchange under the following conditions: Merchandise must be returned in its original package. Do not write on the package. Include a brief note describing the defect on a separate piece of paper. Any servo return with an incomplete or missing package will not be exchanged or refunded. Mechanical damage such as stripped gears, broken control horns, and cracked cases will not be covered by our 14 days warranty. Any modification to merchandise will not be covered by our 14 days warranty. Defective merchandise will only be replaced or refunded within 14 days from the day upon receiving. Defective merchandise will be replaced or refunded at our discretion.
Please contact the Customer Service Department to obtain a RMA # (Return Merchandise Authorization) to return the defective item for a replacement. We refuse shipments that are returned back to us without an RMA #. We reserves the right to return the defected merchandise back to the customer at customer's shipping expense if we in our opinion deem that the merchandise has been crashed, abused, misused or modified in any form. We DO NOT allow exchange defected items for different items or models.
Return & Exchange:
We want you to be 100% satisfy with your order from Nova Hobby Inc. If you for any reason are not completely satisfied, you may return your new and unused merchandise for a refund within 7 days from the day upon receiving. For merchandise that is not defective, you will be charged a re-stocking fee (10% of original invoice price). The cost of shipping is not refundable. You must mark it as “ Return Goods Only-No commercial Value”. You must include a note with the reason for return or exchange or we will not process your return. Please note that we cannot accept returns of any product that has been opened or used. Customers must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number before shipping a merchandise back to us. We refuse shipments that are returned back to us without RMA #s. All returns must (NO EXCEPTIONS) be accompanied by an RMA number. To obtain an RMA number, please email us . Finally, customers must agree to the following upon shipping a merchandise back to us:
1) Return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.
2) We recommend that you use a tracking number.
3) We do not responsible for lost packages or damage packages.
4) We do not reimburse return shipping costs or refund shipping costs.
5) The merchandise must be in Brand New and Unused condition and in its original packaging.
6) Return a copy of your invoice and a brief description of the reasons for the return/exchange.
7) Item(s) shipped to us must be well packed and padded in a strong box.
Missing And Incorrect Items In Order:
Packing orders involves human interaction. Occasionally human error results in a missing or incorrect item being sent with your order. If this happens, notify us in 3 days . We will resolve each problem on a case by case basis.
Shipping Damage Or Packages Lost In The Mail:
If your order shipped with insurance (you need buy shipping insurance when order from us), notify us about the damage or loss and we will start the claim process. You will then be advised of the status of your claim.
